When I was gathering my rules for use of the word “NO!” with Jack I said, “no standing in the tub. a baby must stay on his butt”.
That was bullshitty. I wanted that rule because he was _just_ learning to be mobile and sucked at it. Now he’s all expert he can crawl around all he wants in the tub and stand if I hold him since it is slippery.
I refuse those knubbly bottom of the bathtub things. I like to take a bath and those things feel gross. maybe a removable mat?
Today I let Jack crawl around Barnes and Noble, drool on everything and throw books about. HA. Take that MAN.
