Week 23 - the saga of the host body continues
i have nothing to report for week 23. week 23 appears to be the exact same as week 22 except that i am distinctly bigger.
you know, first it was just that my tummy was expanding but now that area just above the tummy but below the boobs is ballooning outwards. some of my books have excellent pictures of a pregnant womans anatomy. i swear, your stomach gets pushed up into your armpits… its hideous looking! but anyway, at this stage my uterus is probably not higher than my belly button still but the rest of my organs are getting pushed up thus the new expansions i am seeing.
i have 4 months to go people! it’s freaking FOREVER!!!
in other new is am still a giant snotball. i almost cried with joy last night when i found the small ancient jar of vaseline. i immediately smeared some under my nose where it is getting all chapped from constant nose blowing. i also almost cried with joy when i remember that there was some ice cream in the freezer. i ate two very large bowls of it around 1:30am.
people keep saying things like ,”oh but pregnant women have special immunity don’t they?”. special immunity from what exactly? germs veer away in order to do honor to my attempt to bring another human life into the world? i think not. in fact, i think it is exactly the opposite. my body is busy doing other things and thusly give a shit not about whether or not i have an uncomfortable flu. ah well, i held out as far as taking meds was concerned. except i couldn’t take it anymore last night and used some afrin.
now i am ensconced in bed again. i’m not leaving today except to go get some cheerios and stuff to make deviled eggs. all things guaranteed to make me really farty and thusly i will extract revenge on Vim who has given this cold to me.
